Credit Libanais uses your International Bank Account Number (IBAN) to process domestic and international bank transfers as per BDL Basic Circular No. 120. Each account has its very own 28 digit (letters and numbers) long IBAN number.

IBAN facilitates money transfer thanks to the way it precisely indentifies the beneficiary account number in transfer orders. IBAN also allows sender banks to verify the validity of the provided beneficiary account number.

To get the new IBAN for each of your accounts, check your account statement on the Online Banking service, contact our Customer Service Center on 1518, or ask at your Credit Libanais branch.
